Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Assistant Resource Center of an AM 100 law firm. This role supports attorneys in delivering the highest level of service to internal and external clients. As a contributing team member, the ARC Legal Assistant, is proactive in balancing multiple work demands, taking personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of their own and the team’s work product, and maintaining client and firm confidentiality.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of legal secretarial/legal assistant experience supporting commercial litigation
- eFiling experience in PA
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to develop positive working relationships (in-person and virtually).
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Essential Functions:
- Create, edit, format and proofread documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Prepare legal documents for court filing and electronic filing.
- Promptly respond to attorney requests via written, verbal or electronic communication.
- Effectively and efficiently manage work and information requests, including document management, scheduling and coordination of firm resources.
- Help attorneys and team members apply new technology to improve efficiency and quality of work product.
- Hands-off work with detailed instructions to team members to prevent any compromises in work product.
- Smoothly handle multiple demands and shifting priorities across all firm offices.
- Maintain Extranet data and FTP sites for attorneys and clients.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Work additional hours as needed to fulfill job requirements.
Compensation:
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
